Bayonetta
by admin on Jan.14, 2010, under News
For those of you familiar with they Devil May Cry series you have probably already picked up Bayonetta or just waiting on that paycheck. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the series, I’m here to put a little spot light on Bayonetta and its game play as well as storyline. From what I have gathered with it so far is that you are a witch buried deep in a lake for the past 500 years with no recollection of your memories. As you go through the game you will re-live her past memories that are triggered by events and as well as play through current events that happen to her. She wasn’t born with her witch powers but more or less made a deal with the Devil, which in turn she has to kill angelic soldiers in order to keep her deal with the devil solid. And just to make it weird your witch powers are actually controller by the characters hair, odd but they made it work for the game and I believe that’s what makes this game unique and entertaining to play. As you go through the game you will encounter some people in Bayonetta’s past and present, some good some evil, some will help you (give you kick @$$ weapons) some will try and kill you. Who is on your side, you will have to play the game to see.
The game play is a classic Devil May Cry feel to it, and for those who haven’t played them I would compare it with Ninja Gaiden II. The button combination’s are simple but complex like every weapon has different combo’s so you would have to memorize a couple of them if your like me and don’t like seeing your character doing the same combo’s over and over, BORING!!! The gore factor in this game is AMAZING, you have different torture techniques one is where you shove and enemy in a sarcophagus with spikes and close it on his face and yes blood and guts go everywhere. And just like Ninja Gaiden the boss battles are enormous, I mean this in both that they take a little while to beat and the fact that they are 50 times bigger then you are. Now for me that takes the cake for action adventure games. This game has everything an action adventure hack em slash em needs, Big @$$ Bosses, big finishers, massive combinations, amazing story line and not to forget the new sexy character Bayonetta. I give this game a 9 out of 10.

Best FPS Shooter of the Year?
by admin on Nov.14, 2009, under News
So many of you probably have or have not yet bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Well I’m here for those people who are still deciding on weather they want it or not. For being the most anitcipated game of the year Infinity ward and Activision had to step it up a notch. I would personally would have to say very well done Infinity & Activision. The graphics to the game are spectacular and very clean, Gameplay is top notch and feels alot like COD Modern Warfare except alot faster and smoother. Campaign is definitely better then the last one and alot more challenging as well as heart stopping action. Campaign takes you from being in the top elite Spec Ops class to running around in an air port as a terrorist “OMG SO MUCH FUN!!!” And as for the online play it will leave you speachless, so much stuff to do with every single weapon, everyone can have their own call sign, death streak, kill streak and not to mention new maps. Its a good thing that they added all this new stuff to the online play that way it kept the original people from Modern Warfare and brought new people into the battlefield. I give the game 10/10
