Brutal Legend

Play as Eddie Riggs, one of the most bad @$$ roadies a band can have. He does everything from tuning guitars, setting up the stage, polishing guitars and even getting bass strings from a spider web? This game is an action adventure, hack em slash em game with Jack Black shenanigans. This game felt like a little bit of Overlord to me, mainly because you can summon people to come help you on a quest and control them to how you please. It also is an open world free roam so there is more stuff to do then just the story line and the best part is that you don’t have to walk everywhere, you get to summon a drag car, Yay!! For the little amount of gaming I did on it, I was very pleased how they went about everything and even incorporating new ideas of game play. The only thing I was kinda bummed about is the brutality in the game. Yes when you kill people their heads, arms, or legs pop off with a little of blood squirting from the limbs, from that its the only dismemberment I’ve seen in the game so far. I think they could of improved on the combat system just a little bit better, but I’ve just only started the game so I’m leaving chance for improvement.

It was a Firefight!!!
by admin on Oct.06, 2009, under News
Most of you Halo fans probably have played and beat ODST already either on Co-op or single player campaign. Granted it only took me and my other Halo addicted friends 6hrs to beat on Legendary but that’s not the point. I’m here to talk about the new mode Firefight. For me personally I thought it was the best thing Bungie has put in their game so far. Alot of people got tired to doing relentless dome shots on Xbox Live and played through the campaign more then a few hundred times and wanted to shoot something else and not hear screaming from little kids as they lose horribly. I never got tired of shooting the people in the head but the maps did get played out really quick, Firefight added new maps and a new way of play that I believe they were missing since Halo 2. The only thing I was disappointed about is the multi-player disc, I was hoping for only ODST battle not a disc filled with Halo 3 multi-player maps where you can only use the Chief and Arbitor. Firefight may have brought more Halo fans on for the ride of this amazing game I love to call Halo, thank you Bungie for keeping us entertained since 2001
